I'm rather chipper, or I will be, when I wake up properly - yay, naps - as today is the first day of a four-day weekend. I'll be staying in Manchester on Monday night to see Ryan Adams (it feels kinda indulgent spending the night in a hotel a whole twenty-something miles away from home, but hey, it's only money ... and the last train really does leave far too early >_<). That's the excuse I'm using to justify wasting my all-too-scarce holidays, anyway. ^^; (Did I mention this already? I can't remember. XD) The Mars Volta gig wasn't that great. They're pretty good live, but it was too loud to hear much (err, if you see what I mean), and thanks to them not stopping between songs, it was a bit samey, hmph. My friend wouldn't stop moaning about it being too jumpy either, so we had to move back until we couldn't really see anything. >.> I bought Unlimited Saga today (Shadow Hearts too -- damn my complete lack of willpower), and it comes with that Eternal Calm FFX-2 prologue thing. It's very boring, but more importantly, Yuna still hasn't learned how to act. Meh. Just to rub things in, there's a preview on the actual game disc with the original voice-overs, and the Japanese V.A. can actually. Speak. Properly. *stabs* Still, I'm not going to be buying FFX-2 for the story -- I want to dress people up in ridiculously cute Black Mage costumes, yay! XD (This song is twenty-one minutes and fifty-five seconds long. That's like, woah. Too much prog for a body to handle. XDD Speaking of which, if the tickets haven't sold out by Tuesday, I'll be watching Dream Theater in January, whee!) Current Music: Yes - The Gates of Delirium

I saw the third Matrix film. It was so good that instead of paying to watch it again, I'll save money by beating myself around the face and head with a suitably large and heavy object. Voila! Quite possibly an improvement on the original in fact. Less dialogue, at least. XD Okay, so, it was better than the second one by virtue of the latter fact, but what dialogue there was was apparently written randomly by those infinite monkeys on their infinite typewriters. No, actually, I think there were less monkeys. Maybe one monkeys. Not only was there a fortunate deficit of dialogue, but it had less boring fights with boring anthropomorphic blocks of wood humans and much more fights with big robots, which makes it cooler by default anyway. ... In the immortal, terribly delivered words of Neo: "No, no, no, no, no, no ..." (That was so much fun. I should rant more often. XD) Current Music: Luna Sea - In Silence

Since I'm so bored, and everybody seems to be doing it ... :P OCTOBER: Loves to chat. Loves those who loves them. Loves to takes things at the center. Inner and physical beauty. Lies but doesn't pretend. Gets angry often. Treats friends importantly. Always making friends. Easily hurt but recovers easily. Daydreamer. Opinionated. Does not care of what others think. Emotional. Decisive. Strong clairvoyance. Loves to travel, the arts and literature. Touchy and easily jealous. Concerned. Loves outdoors. Just and fair. Spendthrift. Easily influenced. Easily loses confidence. Loves children. "Loves to take things at the centre"? What does that mean? And how can you lie, but not pretend? o___O Current Music: Go!Go!7188 - Aa Seishun

I'm so inconsistent. Recently I've not been feeling particularly chipper, at least when I've got time to think, but today pretty much the same thoughts have been floating around in my head, and I've been quite optimistic. *boggles* Make your mind up, err, mind. >_> Oh, and if you've not seen it yet, don't watch Cabin Fever. Ever. To put it politely, it's bloody terrible. XD It's supposed to be a bit of a comedy, but it was so amazingly funny I didn't actually realise until the ridiculous ending. I could just be slow though; either way you'd still be better off watching Evil Dead, because it's actually good (or to be more accurate it's bad in a good way XD). I'm twenty in three days. o___o Current Mood: vacant Current Music: Yes - Roundabout

I'm downloading the Vanilla PV ... and I just watched the Mizérable video again. Ah, Jawas and Gackt. Jawas and dancing Gackt. Jawas, dancing, and fucking Satan, man. XD I love laughter and I'm easily amused. Lucky lucky! Also, I unconsciously tap my right foot rapidly in time with whatever music happens to be playing when I'm very excited. Dream Theater is giving my subconscious some problems however, it seems. How many time signatures do you need in one song, anyway? XD (Answers on a postcard! It's in double figures. Ah, pretentiousness. *pets*) Current Music: Dream Theater - Take the Time
